Terms of use

These terms are the rules for using Talaskwela (talaskwela.com and app.talaskwela.com). By making an account or using the app, you agree to them.

Talaskwela is run by Lacrix IT Solutions, registered with the Department of Trade and Industry. In these terms, "we" and "us" means Lacrix IT Solutions. "You" means the parent or guardian using Talaskwela.

1. What Talaskwela is

Talaskwela reads the documents your child's school sends - notices, schedules, quizzes and notes - and turns them into a list of what you and your child need to do. It also makes reviewers and practice from them.

2. What it is not

• Talaskwela is not run by, or connected to, any school.
• The school’s own document is what counts. If a task in the app and the school’s document disagree, follow the school.
• A computer reads your documents, and it can make mistakes. Every task shows the document it came from. Check it there before you act on it.

3. Accounts

• Accounts are for parents and guardians only. Children do not get accounts.
• You may hand your screen to your child so they can read or answer what is already there.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself.

4. What you send us

• Only send documents about your own children.
• If a document shows another child, use the erase tool in the app to cover them before it is uploaded.
• You keep ownership of what you send. You allow us to store it and use it to run Talaskwela, as the app’s privacy notice explains.

5. Things you must not do

• Send documents you have no right to share.
• Try to see another family’s information.
• Break into, overload or test the security of Talaskwela without our written permission.
• Copy content from Talaskwela with bots or scripts.

6. Payments

Talaskwela does not charge anyone yet. Before paid plans start, the price, what each plan includes and the refund policy will be shown before you choose a plan.

7. Closing an account

You can stop at any time. Email us to close your account. The app's privacy notice says what happens to your data when you do.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks section 5. If we do, we email you the reason, and you may reply to explain or fix it.

8. No promises, and limits on our responsibility

Talaskwela is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise it will never be down, slow, or wrong. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using Talaskwela.

9. Changes to these terms

For an important change, we email you before it applies. Small fixes, such as typos, can be made without notice. The date at the top always shows the last update.

10. The law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.

If you and we disagree, please email us first. We will reply within 7 days and try to settle it.

If it is not settled, any case between you and us shall be filed in the proper courts of Makati City. Where the law requires barangay conciliation first, it will be followed.
